The Scottish Community Safety Network (SCSN); COSLA; Police Scotland; Scottish Government; NHS Scotland and Neighbourhood Watch Scotland are working together to review Public Space CCTV in Scotland. The research project, launched on 9 January 2019, will review the current landscape for Public Space CCTV across Scotland and will identify future opportunities in terms of Community Safety outcomes.
The research is currently out to tender and is expected to commence 1 February 2019 with an expected publication date in early summer 2019. It is expected that a wide range of organisations, communities and individuals will be asked to participate in the consultation as it progresses.
